After a 25-year California career in designing and building custom homes, Gloria moved to Idaho and founded WomanTours in 1993. Now retired, she spends her summers in the Tetons and her winters in the Arizona desert -- when she’s not bicycling on one of our tours.

Sandra became the WomanTours office manager in 1999, bringing with her 20 years of management experience. She expertly coordinates tour logistics and manages our western office. More than anything else, she loves mountain biking the trails of Idaho with her dogs.

Michelle joined us in 2007. She was new to cycling then, but her sisters, Jackie and Jennifer, quickly converted her. When she’s not bicycling to work or doing zumba at the gym, she’s paying our bills, updating cue sheets and maps, and answering your questions about our tours.

After a 25-year career with the US Navy, Carol now enjoys the unstructured life of retirement. Luckily for us, she also enjoys the guiding of our bike tours. If you don’t see her on her bike, you’ll find her on a golf green or ski slope. It’s a rough life.

After Denise biked the Southern Tier cross-country tour with us in 2006, we learned she could wield a mighty bike wrench, prepare a picnic lunch that rivaled Martha Stewart’s, and had a laugh that came easy, making everyone around her comfortable. A business owner and mother, Denise lives in Utah when she’s not leading tours for us.

Having spent most of her career guiding tours with another bike company, Laurie brings a wonderful sense of fun and professionalism to the job. An avid cyclist, excellent mechanic, and expert kayaker, Laurie is also a certified ski instructor. When she's not on tour, she makes her home in the mountains of Virginia.

Linda has been a professional bicycle mechanic for more than 20 years. She’ll make sure you're comfortable on your bike and help fix anything that breaks. She lives in Montana and lobbies her state legislature when she’s not guiding for us. She’s the best cheerleader you’ll ever have.

Michelle has had a love affair with bicycles since receiving her first one at the age of four. She’s biked across the country eight times and counting. Born and raised in Colorado, she works as a massage therapist when not on tour with us. She’s a wonderful guide, cook and bicycle mechanic, but an even better singer, songwriter and guitar player.

When Sid effortlessly grilled wild salmon in the pouring rain on our Alaskan tour, we knew we had to show her the easy life in the lower 48. Now she guides our other tours, staying in fancy B&Bs and dining at fine restaurants. You can take Sid out of Alaska but you can’t take Alaska out of Sid. She’ll talk you into joining us there when you meet her on your next tour.
