Pedaling for student opportunity
As the mother of four successful young adults, Linda O. of Carmel, IN is keenly aware how important it is to have educational opportunities. But she also knows that the playing field is not always level, and some students have to contend with difficult home lives, economic disparity and other challenges that can make the road to higher education more daunting. Her goal in riding across the country is to raise at least $5,000 for the PERSEVERANCE scholarships for high school seniors in her community. Donations and more information can be found here.
Linda is also a having a blast, as her Facebook page, Boomer Grammy Pedaling Bike Across America, testifies.
Biking (and barking) for the dogs

Her Miles for Mutts fundraiser benefits Albert's Dog Lounge, a foster-based rescue focused on providing loving homes to seniors, special needs, and hospice dogs.
