Day 1: Get the Lay of the Land
Arrival & Orientation
Congrats, you made it! Whether by plane, train, or automobile, you're here and ready to roll. Check into your hotel (or stash your bags), grab a coffee, and take in the sights.
Bike Fitting
Renting a bike? Time for a quick meet-and-greet with your trusty steed in the parking lot. Our guides will adjust everything to fit you like a glove—then it’s your turn to test it out.
Orientation
Gather round to meet your fellow riders, learn key safety tips, and get the lowdown on tomorrow’s route.
Dinner
Your first group meal! A chance to fuel up, make friends, and get excited for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Ride Day!
Morning Prep
Wake up, fuel up, and gear up! After breakfast, fill your water bottles, check your saddlebag, and make sure your tires are ready to roll. Don’t forget to check in with the SAG (support and gear) guide before you hit the road! She makes sure everyone is accounted for before, during and after the ride.
The Ride
And… you’re off! The wind in your face, the scenery unfolding around you—pure cycling bliss. There's also the freedom of stopping and exploring places along the way with your new cycling buddies -- your guides will let you know about these worthwhile destinations beforehand. Worried about being the slowest? Don’t be. Everyone finds her pace, and our sweep guide makes sure no one gets left behind. Tired? You can always pop in the SAG van. The guides will also prep you ahead of time about sections to skip if you are concerned about mileage.
Rest Stops and Lunch
SAG van = snacks, water, and a much-appreciated pep talk (and if you're lucky, a public bathroom). Your SAG guide will stop every 15 miles or so to make sure you're at the top of your game. Lunch might be at a local café, a scenic picnic, or a grab-and-go snack fest. And nobody will tell your mom if you forego that salad for cookies.
End of the Ride
You did it! Whether you finish first or last, you’ve earned that post-ride ice cream. Unwind before dinner—shower, nap, explore, or just lounge by the pool in victory.
Dinner and Sleep
More food, more laughs, and then, the best part: sinking into bed, knowing you’ve got this. Tomorrow, it's rise and repeat.
